Is it possible to import flight logs into MasterPilot?

Yes, MasterPilot allows you to import flight log files from avionics systems like Garmin and Dynon. You can also import ForeFlight track logs and seamlessly connect your AirSync account to MasterPilot.

What types of maneuvers can MasterPilot detect and analyze?

MasterPilot is designed to cover the maneuvers included in Private and Commercial Airman Certification Standards (ACS). After you complete a flight, MasterPilot automatically detects and analyzes all the maneuvers you’ve performed. MasterPilot can detect 19 different maneuvers that can help you both on your initial pilot training and when honing your aviation skills for your Commercial Pilot certificate.

MasterPilot’s scoring system is simple and aligned with aviation standards. For each maneuver you perform, MasterPilot calculates a score from 1 to 10. We consider specific factors like altitude, airspeed, heading, and bank angle to determine how well you executed each maneuver. A score of 10 means a perfect performance according to the ACS, while scores lower than 5 indicate room for improvement. This system gives you a clear, objective measure of your performance every time you fly.

What features does the 3D visualization offer?

The 3D visualization in MasterPilot is a high-tech replay of your flight. It takes your flight data and transforms it into a vivid, three-dimensional recreation. You can view your flight from multiple angles: right behind the airplane, full 3-D, or a top-down perspective. The visualization includes terrain and wind conditions, adding context to your flights. You can zoom in on specific maneuvers to examine them in detail, or zoom out for a broader view of your flight path.
